Tears For Fears in 1985

I was born in the fall of 1976 so I remember the 80s quite well. It was the era of protest and making sure that people were socially consious.

When I think of a socially consious bands I think of bands like Tears For Fears, Depeche Mode, and Duran Duran who were never afraid to say what was on their minds.

But it was also such a great time to be a goofy little kid. With shows like Foofur, Kissyfur, Transformers, Thundercats, Captain Power and the Soliders of the Future, Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony and Friends and getting up early on Saturday mornings to watch these shows. :)
And then there was the weekdays before school and weekdays after school that really got me going, Challenge of the Gobots, G.I. Joe, Bravestarr, M.A.S.K, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Scooby Doo. The list goes on. :)

Then there was super hot Johnny Depp in 21 Jumpstreet. I was kind of sad to see him go but I think it was the right thing for him to do. :)

The 1980s was just a great time to be a kid. I thought that everything that I had began in the 1980s and I never really wanted to grow up. I guess there are some of us who never did grow up. :)
