Drak
Pack

Drak Pack was an animated television series. It aired in the United States on CBS Saturday Morning between 1980 and 1982.

The series centred around three young men descendants of Dracula, Frankenstein's monster and a werewolf.

To atone for their ancestors' wrongdoings, the three, united and, became superheroes.

They appeared initially as normal humans, but when they put their hands together and shouted Whack-o! they would transform into a vampire, a monster and a werewolf.

The series had a lighthearted, somewhat satirical tone and the dialogue was rather sophisticated for a Saturday morning cartoon of its time.

It made use of alliteration, rhyming, colorfully-turned phrases and pop culture references.

SimpsonsFan99 (Indianapolis, IN) said:

It's too bad Hanna-Barbera never fully realized the potential for this remarkable series, as all the stories focused on the supertrio's adventures with the members of O.G.R.E. (Organization of Generally Rotten Enterprises).

Had there been a greater variety of villains besides Dr. Dred and his crew, Drak Pack might have lasted longer than two seasons on CBS Saturday mornings.
