Charlie Brown
and Snoopy Show
The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show is an animated television series featuring characters and storylines from the Charles M. Schulz comic strip Peanuts.
It aired Saturday mornings on the CBS network from 1983 to 1985. In the 1990s, it re-aired on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon.
In Canada, it aired on YTV. It re-aired with the specials on the UK channel, Boomerang in 2002, but was named and advertised as "Snoopy" for short.
The series' format was based on two earlier CBS prime-time specials, Celebration (1982) and It's an Adventure (1983).
Episodes typically featured gags and story lines that were derived from the newspaper strip.
