Captain N Gamemaster is a teenager who together with his dog "duke" is being sucked into Videoland.

Kevin is brought to Videoland to forfill an ancient prophecy and stop Mother Brain in her attempt to conquer Videloand.

When Kevin arrives in Videoland, he's just in time to stop Mother Brain.

The members of the "N team" are princess Lana, Simon Belmont, Megaman and Kid Icarus, all well known characters from the Nintendo Games.

Although the "N Team has no faith in Kevin, they put a side their differences to save Princess Lana and protect Videoland.

Before the show's third and last season, NBC made significant budget cuts to their Saturday Morning cartoon programming as they began their gradual move away from cartoons.

As a result, the third season has a cheaper quality of animation with certain elements missing from characters.

Also, many episodes only featured a few of the main characters, mainly the ones who were first party Nintendo characters to avoid paying royalties to Konami and Capcom for the uses of Simon Belmont and Megaman respectively.

The episodes were also shorter and some didn't have any tie-ins to Nintendo Games but other things such as fairy tales and sports.

The show was aired between 1989-1991 and contained 34 episodes.
