Last week I was searching on my hard drive for the best songs of the 80s but there are so many great songs made in the 80s, that I want to listen to them all at once.
Well offcourse I didnt because that would sound pretty awfull :)
It occured to me that the music from the 80s was actually a lot better then the music from today, not only the music itself but also the artists.
Back in the 80s we had icons, idols and superstars that rocked our world, and had us collect everything there was to find about them.
I can remember myself sleeping under a bedsheet of Michael Jackson's Bad or Thriller. (the zombies gave me nightmares but I would not change the cover)
Its very difficult to decide what songs qualify as the best songs of the 80s but below you will find all the number 1 songs from 1980 to 1989.
